This is great example of how you can get involved in your local food community! Chyela Rowe is a CSA member with MSFM’s Signal Mountain Farm, and pays for part of her CSA share by maintaining a recipe blog on their website.
Says Chyela: “I love to cook and get excited to have the creative challenge of cooking from a CSA. We have also tried to be particularly health-conscious in the way we eat, so tend to limit saturated fats, refined sugars and avoid processed foods altogether. The blog reflects these preferences, and hopefully will help others who are looking for these sorts of recipe ideas. I don’t just cook for adults, either. My kids have to approve every recipe I post!”
